Payment in the form of cash or credit card is to be paid upon completion of grooming service. If using a credit card, a 3.5% fee will be added to your invoice.

Veterinary information

We hope to never need your vet for any reason but having their information readily available is necessary for the safety of your pet.

Senior Pets and Pets with Health Issues

Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior pet or a a pet with health problems. Because senior pets and pets with health problems have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort ONLY, in styles that will not add to the stress. Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming will not be held responsible for accident or injury to an elderly or health-compromised pet during their grooming session.

Proof of Vaccination

For the safety of your pet as well as our groomer, Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming will require proof of your pet’s current rabies vaccination and expiration date before we can commence any grooming service.

Cancellation/No Show/Trip Fee

On rare occasions, Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming may be forced to cancel your appointment. Those circumstances would be due to inclement weather, illness, equipment failure, etc. We will make every effort to reschedule your appointment in the fastest time possible to accommodate your schedule. We will never disrespect your time by not showing up. You can fully expect a text message from us letting you know if we must cancel at the earliest possible time. We want to respect your time, and we ask that you respect ours as well. If a client cannot keep their appointment, kindly contact us as soon as reasonably possible. If you cancel within 24 hours or less, it will result in a charge of $50 which is expected to be paid within 3 business days. Multiple pet clients who decide at the last moment to not groom one or more of their pets will be responsible for the cost of the entire groom. In an effort to maintain clear communication and reminders of your appointment time, Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming will send out a text message three (3) days before your scheduled appointment time, and again, one (1) day before asking you to confirm your appointment.

Matted and/or Neglected Coats

Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort for your pet and can aggravate or cause skin problems and irritation, especially if there are moles, warts or skin folds trapped inside matting. Client is aware that neglect of the pet’s coat can be cause for problems after grooming, such as clipper/brush irritation. If Client’s pet does not remain calm and still, accidents can happen such as cuts, nicks, etc. from clippers or scissors. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet’s skin which can cause mold, fungus, bacteria or skin irritations which were present prior to the grooming process. The effects of mat removal may include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasion, or failure of hair to regrow. However, if de-matting your pet is not a viable option, Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming will complete a “shave-down” of your pet’s coat. An additional fee will be applied for a shave down. It is a tedious process and requires intense focus to keep your pet as comfortable and safe as possible. A shave down of your pet may dramatically change your pet’s appearance and the hair will be very close to the skin. This may expose pre-existing skin conditions. Client is to be 100% responsible for the condition of the pet’s coat and will not hold Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming responsible in the event of an adverse effect of mat removal or shave down.

Safety/ Dog Behavior

Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming will work diligently to earn your pet’s trust. However, if you own an aggressive pet or a pet who has bitten someone in the past, we must decline grooming of your dog. If you falsely represent your pet’s behavior during the booking process for an appointment, we will discontinue (cut short) grooming services and Client will be responsible for the full grooming charge. Client will be held liable for any bites or any property damage caused by their pet(s). For the groomer’s safety as well as your pet’s safety, Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming reserves the right to refuse service in the event that a pet cannot be properly and safely handled.

Pre-Existing Conditions

Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming and may require immediate medical attention. In the best interest of your pet, Client designates Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming as agent and understands that if Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming is unable to contact Client first, then Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming, at its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian at Client’s expense.

Medical Emergencies

Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming will, to the best of their ability, keep pets as safe as possible. In case of an emergency, Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming has your permission to obtain immediate veterinarian treatment, at Client's expense, should it become necessary. If your dog's veterinarian is not readily accessible, Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming, is authorized to use a veterinarian/emergency animal hospital of its choice. Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming will make attempts to reach the Client first, unless the pet's life is at risk.

Consent for Pictures

Client consents that Fur Seasons Mobile Dog Grooming may take pictures of your pet, before and after grooming, and utilize the same for their website, social media and for any and all advertising purposes at Fur Seasons discretion.
